Volunteers are our heroes!! We have multiple volunteering opportunities if you would like to get involved and be a part of a film making and charitable movement of awesome people doing awesome things to make this world a better place!
Volunteering opens many doors and allows you to get work experience and meet people you may never be exposed to. In return, you'll be exposed to a unique world of film and philanthropy.
We need people with many different skill sets, the current open positions are listed below and our volunteering requirements will grow throughout this year.

Marketing Strategist
We are on the look out for an experienced marketing guru who can assist us to plan out our marketing strategy in the lead up to the next Cause Film Festival. This role is required for a one off consultation, to produce a strategy and plan with us and then to provide advice if required on an ongoing basis.
Marketing & Sponsorship COORDINATOR
Are you an experienced marketing and / or sponsorship coordinator who can help us to produce and organise our marketing material and fundraising initiatives as well as look after our sponsors? We need you to help us to ensure we have the right marketing material in the right places - cinemas, film schools, websites, digital channels and to coordinate our media and PR activities. The role is required for assistance from a few hours a week up to a day a week in the period from now up to the Cause Film Festival awards night - timings TBC.
Social Media Coordinator
We need a social media gun with a passion for all things "content" to assist us with posting and monitoring our social media under the guidance of our Digital Director. Ideally with EDM knowledge as well. This role will require about 2-3 hours a week.
General Coordinator - filled!
A highly organised generalist who can turn their hand to anything is required to assist our Festival Director in the day to day running of the Cause Film Festival.
Funding and Grants Researcher / Application Writer
We want Cause Film Festival to grow! So we need funding but there's a lot of research to do and organisations to contact. Are you familiar with this process?
ASSISTANT TO THE FESTIVAL DIRECTOR
As the festival director’s right hand man or woman you will learn all the ropes. You will be asked to do a wide range of tasks from coordinating sponsors and judges to updating the website and organising the Awards Night. You will need to be experienced in websites, confident with dealing with lots of different types of people and very driven to get stuff done with top notch communication skills.
We understanding due to the unpaid nature of volunteering, it's not for everyone. And it needs to fit within your every day life. We will be clear as possible on the hours of commitment that the role will take up. But from your side it's important to understand that if you are going to raise your hand it is a commitment we expect you to uphold. We guarantee your heart will thank you!
